Garland of Gratitude

1. Print out Leaf Templates (below).

2. Write what each child is thankful for on a separate leaf.

3. String leaves into a garland by folding stems over string and taping in place.

Tip:
If you want the leaves to have a crumpled texture, prepare as directed below before writing on the leaves:
  • Lay leaf pages on a covered work surface, then spray water over both sides so the whole surface is damp.
  • Crumple the paper into a loose ball, flatten it out, and let it dry completely (takes a few hours).
  • When dry, cut out the leaves and hand them to your guests to write on.
